A Day at the Office
At the beach just before dawn,
You wait for the sun, in between yawns
Soon you'll see it rising, out from the ocean,
The colors galore, the waves and the motion,
It gets bigger and bigger, as it starts it's day
Getting hotter and hotter, too hot as some would say,
A lone cloud comes over, takes away some heat,
Maybe it's on a coffee break, some relief for my feet,
Then it reappears again, for another hour or two,
Until rain showers come in, leaving us a partial view,
Soon after lunch, it's back on the job,
Sunglasses a must now, for that big yellow blob,
Soon dusk will appear, it will head for the opposite horizon,
Just another day at the office, till tomorrow's rising.
