Mine heart broken into two
As sorrow filled the space
Between what was known as me and you
Together sewed as its lace
Bound together as sisters be
That it was known, as you and me
As the heavens bend and bow
Below the starry—filled skies
I look above to let you know
That in memory you still fill these eyes
With laughter that we did embrace
Now by clouds that my eyes do chase
With these words which seek to be
Remembered from time and time
Of what was known as you and me
Keeping my heart with your design
That reminds me friendships never cease
That reminds me of you, my heart's piece
