The power of hope
Hope is a mighty word, not just four letters put together,
It has the strength to light up the most disheartened mind,
It acts like that ray of sunlight, that filters into a room,
Through a tiny crack, lighting up a sad soul,
To gear up for a fresh start, it becomes the reason to try just once more,
The consecutive, successive falls, are alarmingly discouraging,
But it is hope that does not let one give up, Motivating for a better morrow,
To get ready for another round of innings, the fear of failure is then dimmed,
Because one just hopes,
Hope is a thought that gives the strength,
To dream yet another dream, to sing yet another happy song,
To aspire, perspire, and emerge victorious,
It is hope that makes one yearn for better days,
Despite the tests, the turmoil and the various hurdles.
