Ardhanarishwar: The Dance of Two Fires
In the silence before creation speaks,
a body divides and refuses to break
half a mountain of still blue night,
half a river of molten awake
One side carries the weight of the moon.
a crescent of patience, cool and deep;
the other burns like dawn in motion.
a vow the universe cannot keep.
Masculine thunder, steady and vast,
carves the sky with a patient hand;
feminine lightning, soft yet endless,
teaches the stars how to expand.
Neither begins where the other ends.
they breathe in the same eternal skin
not two halves trying to become whole,
but wholeness remembering what it has been.
Balance is born in the space between.
where silence learns to speak in form;
Order and chaos share one heartbeat.
Stillness and storms become the norm.
He is the pillar that holds the sky.
She is the vine that learns to rise.
He is the logic etched in stone.
She is the dream that never dies.
Neither above nor below
no ruler, no ruled, no final throne;
for power dissolves when love is equal,
and strength is softened into home.
In every pulse of breaking and becoming,
in every name that life is made of
Shiva is still learning to receive.
Shakti is still teaching how to love.
