How Artists Speak
Platform building
is by carpenters
for politicians,
preachers, and
public hangings.
True artists care not
for stand or stage,
merely scaffolding
for the work that speaks
its maker’s intent.
Such makers reveal
life’s beauty, pain, state
of existence
through words, dance, music, art until
their work’s truth rises
at viewer discretion,
perches soft
on pre-formed pedestal
where those who hold
synced hearts
will see.
